“Vaccine Diplomacy” – the New Tool of CCP Influence
A new report released by the U.S. Director of National Intelligence warned that China will use “vaccine diplomacy” to exercise power over other countries and draw a wedge between the United States and its allies.
“China will try to increase its influence using ‘vaccine diplomacy,’ giving countries favored access to the COVID-19 vaccines it is developing,” the report warns, using vaccines and medical supplies as tools for negotiation and power brokering.
The report also stated worries over China’s expanding military, as well as its increasing focus on outer-space.
